Bad Alchemy:
Er bettet einen auf die Couch einer 'Psychiatrist Ploppy', lässt einen Stimmen riechen, Farben hören, hält das innere Chaos mit Maschinenbeatsteppnaht zusammen. Ein Schädelbohrer setzt 'Scheinkraft' und die Critters of our mind frei, es hubschraubert im Hirn, 'Loch Nowhere' spuckt 'Rätsel' über Rätsel aus, Lamentieren hilft ebenso wenig wie Beten gegen glissandierende Fliehkräfte und das Mahlwerk artifizieller Machinationen. Computerstimmen beklagen ihr Elend, HAL 9000 und die Folgen, die Kunst ein Notfall, die Religion lallender Dadaismus, Himmelfahrt als Rohrkrepierer. Die Botschaft? Ein plunderphonischer Kladderadatsch, babylonischer Nonsense und unknown forces überall. People Like Us, Ergo Phizmiz und die Folgen. Labialpopcorn. Die Frage ist nur, ob weißichnicht oder scheißegal. 'Requiem' spielt Squash à la The Caretaker mit verrauschtem De profundis-Chor. Bei 'OH', verrückte kleine Welt, singt Eglė Sirvydytė (von mmpsuf) ganz elegisch zu Afrobeat und Chorus. Ein Mitbringsel von der Baltic Tour 2016 mit Florian Walter? Bei 'Prayer Against Itself' lappt die Sintflut gegen die Rolläden, im allgemeinen Fluchtchaos raunen Abgesänge rückwärts. Was nützt der salbungsvollste Ton, wenn kakophon das letzte Stündlein schlägt.


Freistil:
Zwölf höchst originelle Songs mit und ohne Stimme serviert er auf der CDr Zentrifuge, teilweise unterstützt von Eglé Sirvydyté, Oren Banai, Pablo Paredes und einem Kinderchor. Zepezauers elektronische Kunst ist es, so komplexe wie eingängige Songstrukturen zu erfinden, zu entwickeln, zu paraphrasieren und zu abstrahieren, Zerlegung und Neuzusammensetzung inklusive. Vom Psychiatrist Ploppy und der Scheinkraft bis zum Prayer Against Itself und zum finalen Abendlob reicht die Palette, die Psycow, das Requiem (for Achim Kämper) und das berührende OH liegen unter anderem auf dem Weg Zepezauers in die Zentrifuge und aus ihr heraus. Das Ganze gibt’s dann in 75 individuell gestalteten Kartoncovers. Großartig!
